About Jan and her books
From thrillers to fantasy, iconic characters pop off the pages as they travel through the past, searching for romance, wanting to be heard, wanting to survive, wanting to change and find a path. Jan writes historical novels in every genre for adults, YA and kids. Her new novel is based on the true story of Chaja Goldstein, a cabaret star in Berlin and Amsterdam during the 1930s. It is about The Other, the outsider. It is not a typical holocaust story. Jan is a retired psychologist and resides in Chicago with her husband.
